From the horse's mouth: A Zionist on Zionism

No one cares if you recognize Israel.

Now that that is out of the way, back to the truth. As article 49 of the Fourth Geneva convention does not apply in this situation, pulling it out is useless. There are no War criminals in this stry unless you are mentioning the Palestinian terror groups.

The IDF is performing a distasteful job to the best of their ability. They readily deserve their reputation as a humane force.
It has never been Israel's intention to dismantle more than a handful of settlements in the West Bank. And noe in Jerusalem.

Certainly no western Journalist expects any difference.
The Nobel peace prize is no longer reserved for the peaceful. Even Arafat got one while the bllod was still dripping from his teeth.

It is amazing how important you make me out to be, but it is really only the truth that is important, not who delivers it.

As for the Egyptians, don't forget they then had the stuffing kicked out of them and shortly lost whatever they had gained.

As for Gaza, Israel should have never entered the area other than to patrol the Egyptian border. I'm glad they are out. Now we can sit back and watch the Gaza civil war.

While you lose control, I merely post truth.

Jenin was not a police action but a military action. Jenin was not flattened and no massacre occured. Even the Palestinian Authority agrees that no massacre occured (Not that the PA is a reliable source, but it will do this time).
The law that you are concerned with details police activities, it does not concern military activities. They come under two separate jurisdictions. But surely you are aware of that.

The PA, an not-so-relaible source, had no choice but to issue the statement when the truth was painfully forced upon them. The disclaimer was to assure you that I and the rest of the civilized world normally place no belief in PA statements.
Jurisdictional aspect of the matter have to do with the difference between civil law and military war.
Elaborate the difference between civil and military law? Basic knowledge. If you don't have basic knowledge, there is not much sense having you at the table.
I see. You're having a problem with the fact that "war" was the incorrect word when "law" was the intended word.

I assume you will understand know.
Golda Meir:

We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.

Golda Meir:

We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. Those comments were racist? You lost me on that one.
